Aug. 9 - 1 man killed in his Marlborough home

Aug. 16 - Woman escapes bullets in her Taradale home

Aug. 18 - 1 man killed in a Connaught alley

After I stop hyperventilating I'd grab the family and head to Hawaii to discuss the next steps after winning the Lotto!

I'd get as far away from a phone and the internet and begin the process of dividing up the money. Most importantly I'd split the winnings down the middle with 1/2 going into the bank to collect interest and the other 1/2 meeting immediate needs.

Continue working? Whew! Tough call. But let's be real, a million doesn't go as far as it used to...like I know! Show me the money then we'll talk.

I'm also hearing that China has spent over $300,000 on the opening ceremonies and has taken over 3 years to prepare for this.  Over 10,00 performers are schedule to perform:  kung-fu fighters, trapeze artists, and traditional Chinese dancers. 

A pair of old jeans was found in California in an abandoned mine. Based on evidence these jeans may have been made between 1895 and 1898...over 110 years old!!! Even better yet, you can bid on these jeans off of ebay...here's the details:
