The listeriosis bacteria is linked to an outbreak that has killed 6-people in Ontario.Health officials are investigating what role listeria played in six other deaths. There may also be a connection to 4-deaths here in Alberta.
RCMP have seized millions of dollars worth of counterfeit goods, following a series of raids in Calgary. The RCMP worked with border services, searching three Calgary locations over the past month. They found over 7-thousand items like purses, ball caps, jewellery and t-shirts, all of which had been imported from China. All of the itmes were falsely labelled with brand names like Prada, Versace as well as Gucci.
A Boeing 7-37 made an emergency landing in central France after the cabin depressurized. The pilot put the Ryanair jet into a dive, losing eight-thousand metres of altitude in five minutes late yesterday. Of the 168 passengers, 26 were taken to hospital with ear, nose, and chest pain.
